NoteGuide Medical keeps clinical wording on your device. Your account holds only what is needed to confirm who you are and whether your subscription is active.

Clinical content stays on the device

Everything you type while charting — history, exam, assessment, plan, notes, monthly care management entries — is saved in the browser storage of the device you are using. It is not uploaded, not synced between devices, and not readable by APRN Academy.

Anyone who can use that device and browser profile may be able to read the charting saved in it. Use a device lock, and clear the device from Records & Backup when you are done with it.

What the account holds

Your NoteGuide account stores your email, the name and practice you choose to enter, your role, and your product licence details: status, plan tier, seat count, renewal or end date, and the subscription reference from APRN Academy. No card details are held by this app.

Do not enter identifiers

Do not enter names, dates of birth, record numbers, addresses, phone numbers or insurance IDs. Use the anonymous chart reference the app generates. Removing a name does not by itself de-identify a clinical narrative.

No HIPAA compliance claim

No HIPAA compliance claim is made for this app, and no business associate agreement is offered. You remain responsible for how the device, the exported files and the printed notes are handled under your own policies.

Exports and printing

Exported backups are readable JSON files and are not encrypted. Printed or exported notes leave the app entirely and must be handled like any other clinical document.

Changes

If this changes in a way that affects what is stored or where, the change will appear on this page before it takes effect in the app.
